“The therapist’s role becomes to create a relationship where you feel safe and free.
Free to drop the false fronts and roles you play in life,
and
free to begin to explore what waits behind the masks you present to the world”
— Carl Rogers
I am a compassionate and a fully qualified Person-Centred, Humanistic Counsellor/Therapist, with a wide range of clinical and life experience and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP)
I have specialist training and a lot of experience supporting individuals with mental health issues such as; Depression, PTSD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Anxiety Disorders and supporting people who are experiencing feelings of emotional distress or despair, including those which may lead to self-harm and suicidal thoughts.
Since 2014 I've helped my clients break through the difficulties that seem to be holding them back in life. Divorce, affairs, relationship problems, physical and emotional abuse, domestic violence, those are some of the issues I was able to help.
I work with people who want to find more motivation, emotional stability, and feelings of self-worth. My goal is to enable you to feel safe enough to explore the obstacles that might be preventing you from living your best life.
I work towards encouraging an atmosphere of safety and trust in which you can feel comfortable to freely express feelings, thoughts, experiences, without fear of criticism or judgement in a confidential, supportive, caring environment.
Being a therapist is hard work, but being a therapist is also incredibly rewarding. There are many reasons, why I love being a therapist; one of them is that I find it to be a privilege to play a part in the stories of my clients. I feel amazed and humbled when a client tells me “I’ve never told anyone this before…” and in that moment I feel privileged to be therapist.
